Our team operate at the interface between policy and practice - supporting colleagues in government with reviews, evaluation and research based around understanding what is working and opportunities for improvement at the frontline; whilst also helping to translate national agendas into regional and local improvement programmes.

We have worked within central government departments since our inception, including as part of the Cabinet Office’s “Delivering Differently Programme”, with HM Treasury, the Department of Health and the Department for Communities & Local Government.

From 2012 onwards PPL has been specifically involved in developing and influencing approaches to co-production across UK public services in partnership with the innovation foundation Nesta.

In parallel, we have continued to help support and develop a number of national programmes, including the £3.8 billion Better Care Fund designed to integrate services and outcomes across health and local government boundaries.
