Claire Stidston

Claire joined PPL in 2013 as an Analyst Consultant with a keen interest in communication, change and human behaviour. Along with the desire to catalyse change in the public sector, Claire also has a particular interest in establishing how we can effectively balance the need for prevention and intervention to achieve the best outcomes for our society. She brings strong business analysis and information system experience, together with excellent communication, problem solving and research skills.

Claire has extensive experience working with CCGs and their partner local authorities to plan and implement joint health and social care across the system. Her knowledge ranges from co-producing a future workforce to help individuals to stay safe and healthy within their own homes, to developing a country wide toolkit helping to bring health and social care services together, and make integrated care a reality.

Claire also has strong experience working in primary care, with previous roles supporting to development of primary care localities, and designing a new model of care across 8 North West London CCGs. More recently Claire has developed a focus on children’s services, having led the establishment of the joint children’s commissioning function in Hounslow, and the delivery of an exploratory research project into preventative approaches supporting young people’s mental health for Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity.

Claire holds a BSc in Psychology from The University of Manchester and is currently studying for an MSc in Health and Medical Sciences at University College London.
